Record Reefer Readings form
The Record Reefer Readings form enables you to record reefer information such as the temperature readings, vent setting and unit, Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen levels, humidity requirements, and fuel levels for the selected reefer unit.
If you do not select a unit in the list view or select multiple units, the Record Reefer Readings option is disabled.
You cannot use the Record Reefer Readings form to update temperature settings for non-reefer units. N4 displays the reefer reading recorded for a unit in the Recording History area on the Reefer tab (on page 1) in the Unit Inspector (on page 1).
To record a reefer reading:
In the Time of recording field, enter the date and time for the reading.
N4 displays the current date and time but you can edit the date and time to record a reading taken previously.
For XPS operations, the Time of recording field corresponds to the Last Reefer Time field in XPS.
Enter any optional information, such as the temperature, humidity, fuel level, and any other details that you want to record at the specified time.
Click Save.
The following table lists the optional fields in the Record Reefer Readings form:
Field Label |
Description |
---|---|
Return Temperature (C) |
Enter the recorded temperature of the reefer container followed by the unit of measure, such as C for Celsius or F for Fahrenheit. If no units are specified then N4 uses Celsius. For XPS operations, the Return Temperature corresponds to the Last Reefer Temp in XPS. |
Ventilation Setting |
Enter the ventilation for the selected container. For XPS operations, the Ventilation Setting field corresponds to the and Vent Setting field in XPS. |
Ventilation Unit |
Select one of the following as the unit for the value specified in the Ventilation Setting field:
|
Humidity |
Enter the percentage of humidity observed for the selected container. It accepts values from 0 to 100.
|
Oxygen Level |
Enter the percentage of oxygen observed for the selected container. It accepts values from 0 to 100. |
Carbon Dioxide |
Enter the percentage of carbon dioxide observed for the selected container. It accepts values from 0 to 100.
|
Reefer Record Fault Code |
Enter the code generated by the reefer's computer system when the system is not functioning or is malfunctioning. If a reefer fault code is removed or recorded using the reefer monitoring system, or if you enter a reefer fault code in the Reefer Record Fault Code field, N4 records the UNIT_REEFER_FAULT event for the unit. However, if you enter a reefer fault code that is identical to the current value, N4 does not record the UNIT_REEFER_FAULT event for the unit. To view the details of the event, use the History, Events tab (on page 1) in the Unit Inspector (on page 1) for the selected unit. You can use the UNIT_REEFER_FAULT event to configure a notice request that sends a notification to the interested party when N4 records the UNIT_REEFER_FAULT event for a unit. |
Min Monitored Temperature (C) |
Enter the minimum temperature allowed followed by the unit of measure, such as C for Celsius or F for Fahrenheit. If no units are specified then N4 uses Celsius. |
Max Monitored Temperature (C) |
Enter the maximum temperature allowed followed by the unit of measure, such as C for Celsius or F for Fahrenheit. If no units are specified then N4 uses Celsius. |
Defrost Temperature (C) |
Enter the defrost temperature followed by the unit of measure, such as C for Celsius or F for Fahrenheit. If no units are specified then N4 uses Celsius. |
Temperature Set Point (C) |
Enter the desired temperature or set point for the genset followed by the unit of measure, such as C for Celsius or F for Fahrenheit. If no units are specified then N4 uses Celsius. |
Supply Temperature |
Enter the supply temperature from the compressor followed by the unit of measure, such as C for Celsius or F for Fahrenheit. If no units are specified then N4 uses Celsius. |
Sensor1 Temperature (C) |
Enter the temperature read at Sensor 1 inside the reefer container (USDA mandated). |
Sensor2 Temperature (C) |
Enter the temperature read at Sensor 2 inside the reefer container (USDA mandated). |
Sensor3 Temperature (C) |
Enter the temperature read at Sensor 3 inside the reefer container (USDA mandated). |
Sensor4 Temperature (C) |
Enter the temperature read at Sensor 4 inside the reefer container (USDA mandated). |
Fuel Level, % |
Enter the percentage of fuel remaining for the selected container. |
Reefer Hours |
Enter the number of hours the reefer had been in operation at the last reefer recording. |
Remark |
Enter any miscellaneous notes for the selected container. |
